I was shocked to watch the clips on Times Now last sunday......Sons of bitches sure they were when they decided to strutt their stuff on a group of women who gathered to have a fun-filled sunday.
What followed thereafter was a series of sermons from the political class and leaders of the organization who accepted their role behind this tragic act. What's even more tragic is that the Chief Minister of Karnataka has chosen to echo the philosophy of this wanted criminal-Muthalik. Shameful that govt policy direction needs inspiration from rogues and thugs. What more would one expect from a party who have an agenda to divide this country on religious lines.Certainly we seemed to have elected a set of morons and all the more a completely incompetent idiot as the Chief Minister.
So what's this story all about:
- a disgruntled leader of the sangh parivar decides to start his own outfit as he was being sidelined
- conceptualizes a plot which will get him/them all the publicity and increase their visbility across the sangh spectrum including the Govt ( read stooge of the RSS and VHP)
- a plot that borders around Indian Culture. Let me repharse Indian Culture as seemed fit by these uncouth elements.
- this act sure fetches him all that he was looking for...visibility on primetime and leading national dailies
- Suddenly Pramod Muthalik is a wanted and respected man in the Sangh parivar. And the reverse of it Maharastra ATS behind his back.
And the nation starts discussions and forums to chat about Indian culture and whether it is appropriate to have women visit PUBs? What i simply dont seem to understand is the fact that visiting a pub and having a drink( men or women) do not constitute an action that is not part of Indian Culture.
And the irony of it all, when china is preparing to send people into Moon, we are grappling with non issues. I sincerely wish the Chief Minister and his lot, could be more pragmatic and forward thinking.
My gut says we have a Govt in Karnataka to lead us into this century steeped with stone-age thinking. Such a shame.
Dear Bijoe..........you agree and so do,that we are running away with trivial matters as should women go public in bar?? Do you agree,with your mom,wife,sis and daughter? but you might agree with your friend, won't you?? what happened in Mangalore is a political stunt to divert the attention of the media from something else!!! what.... i do not know, but it sure was. It so happened that so many women became a victim to the situation.Except for kerala and a few other states,its an open issue and culture to go to bar and drink with friends and as gang and women friends for ages and donkeys years. So who is blaming who?????
ReplyDeleteYes !! its true.. this is nothing but Political SCAPEGOATISM.. and this has been happening everywhere.. even in Mumbai by the so called moral sena who terrorised UPites by beating them up in trains and vandalised cabs. This was nothing but to gain political mileage and grab media attention. Cant the media just cut off providing mileage to this unruly MOB of politicians. No media coverage.. No Interviews... No comments... Just catch them .. and let them stay in jail.
ReplyDeleteInfact the same moral sena had supported the revellers who had misbehaved with 2 or 3 girls at the gate of a Five star property in Mumbai.
Those are the sons of the soils... With the stage set for elections.. IF those politicians win their seats.. then its DOOMS DAY for us... and enough proof to conclude that we indeed are MORONS not THEM.
I do agree for all this but why not our media informed police before it all happend. They are informed well in advanced its gonna take place. So media just wanted to make news and Get their TRP rating i dont think they had a little bit of sence. If they had they would have tried stoping at least a single person beating the women then capturing the insident and saying its exclusive news in our channel.... why they not acting responsible.
